Can't make it to the hack? BuiltWorlds is live streaming the team presentations and awards for the AEC Hackathon on Sunday at 2 pm CDT

ABOUT THE HACK

This event is brought to you by the AEC Hackathon organization, held at the BuiltWorlds event space.

Held across the globe, the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) Hackathon was created to give those designing, building, and maintaining our built environment the opportunity to collaborate with cutting edge technologies and its developers and designers.

The weekend gives attendees the chance to be exposed to and work with the latest high tech tools provided by supporters, sponsors, and fellow community members.

Not all built environment professionals have to code or have much background with tech. Likewise, developers do not need to come with previous AEC experience.

PRIZES

All participants will be entered to win an Apple Watch (sponsored by Hard Hat Hub)!

Cash prizes will also be awarded in the following categories:

BEST OVERALL PROJECT
The project that really hits the mark on execution, utility, and technical merits.

BEST PROJECT THAT SOLVES A BIG AEC PROBLEM
The project that solves a big problem for a built environment profession.

BEST DIGITAL CITIES PROJECT
The best application using city data with open standards based frameworks and technologies.

BEST HACK FROM A PAST EVENT
Projects must be from previous AEC Hackathons or from our community’s open source projects here to qualify. Keep the innovation going!
