BW NEWS: Our Top 10 Stories Of 2015

by ROB McMANAMY | DEC 31, 2015

As a news and analysis site driven to share and cultivate only the best and freshest in industry insights and innovations, BuiltWorlds clearly found its voice this year.

By year's end, our full-time writing and editing staff had grown to include John Gregerson, a former award-winning editor for both ENR and BD+C magazines, as well as Todd Stolarski, an accomplished multimedia contributor who can even boast bona fide Hollywood chops. Their work in our Chicago headquarters has helped to coordinate exclusive BW field reports from experienced industry hands such as Jonathan Barnes in Pittsburgh; Andy Roe in Minneapolis, and Judy Schriener in Phoenix AZ. Expect much more from all of them in 2016, as well as yours truly and no doubt new voices who will undoubtedly join us as we continue to grow.

In the meantime, though, let us look back on our first full year of existence and reprise some of the most compelling and forward-looking stories that we produced. If you are new to BW, this list, as well as our own Top 10 Videos compilation, posted earlier today, should provide a nice sampler of what we are all about. So, without further ado, and in no particular order, here are our Top 10 Stories of 2015:

10. Hype No More, Hyperloop Test Track To Break Ground In Weeks  (Nov 3)

Admittedly, that's a very limited and subjective list, chosen from over 300 stories posted this year and intended to feature multiple voices. Did we skip your favorite? Or is there a story that you think we missed, and should definitely cover in 2016? Please let us know. We really do want to hear from you.

In the meantime... Happy New Year!
