If you happen to know any aspiring AEC students on summer break, you may want to tell them about a new program from Assemble Systems that could one day help them find jobs. A leading provider of model, data and management solutions, the Houston TX-based Assemble announced June 11 that it will allow AEC students to get a head start on learning how its software can help manage model data from BIM-authoring software. Free software licenses will be provided to qualifying students and teachers in order to ease the transition from classroom lectures to real-life use, the company said.

We are committed to promoting the latest technology through our higher education programs.
— Howard Davis, CEO, Assemble Systems

"We recognize that the students of today are the innovative leaders of the future, and we are committed to promoting the latest technology through our higher education programs," said Assemble CEO Howard Davis. "Providing access to transformational professional software through the Assemble Academic Program will give aspiring architects, engineers and construction managers the tools they need to differentiate their resume with BIM knowledge."
